How much do you pay a painter per hour? We charge $77 per hour on a domestic painting job with a minimum charge of 4 hours.
What paint do painters use? We work in different areas around VIC so we use Haymes, Wattyl, Solver, Dulux and Resene.
What paint would you recommend? If i was painting my house - I would use the Haymes Elite Tricoat/undercoat, Ceiling Flat, Low sheen and Oil based Enamel.
If you don't have access to that, I would use Solver Ultra Ceiling Flat and Low Sheen. The enamel is the hardest choice for coverage and usability - Oil based I would use Haymes Trim, Acrylic/Water based I would use Resene Enamacryl or Lustacryl.
We seem more expensive, so why would you hire us? Apart from our good looks and superior painting skills, we really want you to be happy. We'll turn up and get the job done efficiently, we won't ignore your calls, questions or texts, we'll take our shoes off and clean up after ourselves, we'll even let you hold up to 10% of the Cost for 7 days (depending on price) after practical completion, this lets you inspect the work and if you pick up any defects we'll come back and rectify them.
What is a defect? We use the Australian Standard AS/NZS 2311:2017 Guide to the painting of buildings to asses our work.
Hope this helps!
